“Our FIRST Ball Game!!”
It is no secret that we are big Chicago Cub fans and when Geoffrey found out that they would be playing at Dodger Stadium… Well… We absolutely had to go!
We conditioned the kids prior to the big night. They were running around the house for days yelling:
“Go Cubbies – Go! Go Cubbies – Go!”
We made our own little “Fan Flags” and set off for the big event. It was a blast!! Not only did we get booed for rooting for the BEST TEAM IN BASEBALL, but Geoffrey and the kids caught two balls and were utterly satisfied!!!
We got home super late and are all walking around like zombies today but it was well worth it…
Oh! And did I mention that we won? AGAIN??? Will this be the year??? I dare to think so…
I am so jealous that all of you went to a Cubs game! It’s been 2 years since I have seen the Cubbies play! I’m glad you all had such a wonderful time!
This could be our year…if our closing pitchers don’t screw it up for us!!
