ToysRUs Adventures…
June 28, 2008 by Schlottman
Going to any toy store is quite an adventure for the Schlottman’s. The kids know beforehand whether or not we will be buying anything. We make a point of going on “practice runs” where we only browse and don’t spend a penny, teaching them that they cannot always get everything they lay their eyes on.
Every once in awhile we do give them both a fixed amount of “Geoffrey Giraffe Dollars” and they get to choose a treat. CJ is usually real quick to pick a toy – he knows right offhand what he wants and goes for it! Skyler on the other hand can take FOREVER to make her choice. We give her all the options and step back so she wouldn’t feel rushed and watch her ponder and think through the very important purchase!
