Going to any toy store is quite an adventure for the Schlottman’s. The kids know beforehand whether or not we will be buying anything. We make a point of going on “practice runs” where we only browse and don’t spend a penny, teaching them that they cannot always get everything they lay their eyes on.

It is no secret that we are big Chicago Cub fans and when Geoffrey found out that they would be playing at Dodger Stadium… Well… We absolutely had to go!

I ran away for a weekend at Murrieta Hot springs with 225 of High Desert Church’s Women. It was glorious to sit down at meals and be served, then get up without having to do dishes! I had 5 great roommates and met some incredible women!
